When purchases are made within the City and sales tax is applied, the City receives 1% of the taxable sale.
Currently 26% of the City's general fund is derived from sales tax.
The amount of local sales tax is $13.7 million annually! 100% of that money goes directly toward public safety, services and facilities our community has asked for.
