| We are desperately seeking foster homes. Please email if you can help. ARV is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that helps feed, house, spay/neuter, microchip, and provide medical care for animals that have been rescued from the animal shelter, or from a natural disaster. We are a well-respected, long-standing non-profit organization that provides this service to the Simi Valley community as well as the larger Ventura county area. ARV relies solely on donations to continue our programs.
The thrust of our program is to find permanent homes for all of our rescued animals. The animals are placed in foster homes until permanent homes can be found. To secure homes for the animals, we hold weekly adoptions in Simi Valley, use referrals, and network with others who share our philosophy of animal rescue. Injured animals are treated by local veterinarians and nursed back to health before being made available for adoption. |

| The mission of the Simi Valley Police Foundation is to promote public safety and encourage citizen participation to ensure a safe community. In any community, the most important factor impacting public safety is the willingness of citizens to reject the notion that crime of any sort is acceptable in their community. The Simi Valley Police Foundation seeks to encourage this spirit by supporting those programs that permit citizens to participate directly in helping to maintain a safe community. The Simi Valley Police Foundation is dedicated to keeping Simi Valley safe. |
